In 2025, the event attracted over 2400 runners and 35 corporate sponsors. The Strathmore Annual Run 2026 builds upon the success of previous editions. As we look forward to the next edition, the goal is to expand participation, sponsorship, and runners’ experience. We are targeting 6,000 recreational runners. This year’s theme introduces a new and exciting dimension by focusing on supporting STEM education, aligning with the main theme, “Run for Impact: Innovating Futures.”

Africa’s future is heavily dependent on innovation to solve the challenges that we face. This theme corroborates the vital role of future engineers and tech innovators in shaping Africa’s development. The funds raised will provide scholarships for students pursuing degrees in engineering and computing sciences, creating fore-runners in innovation for today and tomorrow, and contributing to technological advancement across the continent.
